Guitar Hero II (game only)
Orange Button on February 06, 2008
Here's a little help with the fearsome ORANGE button- at least how I figured it out. People say that playing guitar doesn't help on Guitar Hero... well it doesn't really, untill you get to the orange button. First off, imagine there being two sets of buttons: Position 1-GRYB and position 2-RYBO-(these are the colors). Imagine 1 2 3 4 and 2 3 4 5 respectivly. Nicely enough, most of the time the songs are split up into these two fingering sections. What I mean is you will usually have a section of notes in either position 1 or 2 and only every once in a while you'll have to mesh them together. If this does come about, I suggest trainging your fingers to stretch (pinky or index) to either the green or orange button. (This would be where real guitar playing comes in.) Otherwise you're just going to have to slide really fast in between the two positions. Hope this helps, as I'm not exactlly a guitar hero myself. :)
