If you are trying to get a higher ring, play mini games. They are fun, they help your gameplay, and it gets you a lot of ring points in a verry shost amount of time. it got me to a level 2 ring in no time! I think ring points are only availabe on XBOX 360. Im not completely sure if its on PS3 or not. If it is, its only on 360 and PS3. XBOX is the most popular console for Madden, overall. The ring points are also a good way to tell if the person you are playing against online is good, bad, or simply legendary. Next time you play a onling game of Madden on 360, check out the persons ring points who your playin against. It really does tell you what kind of player he is. Even if you not online, look at all the ring points stuff. Its very challengeing. Even I am only half way through ring 2.

when you play against your friends, using teams with higher ratings (ex: Paitriots) gives you a HUGE advantage
