Cars is based on the hit movie by pixar and it has the feel of being in the movie, for an animation the handling is quite realistic like on gran turismo and it plays a little bit better.
Graphics on this game are quite impressive for an psp and there are no jagged edges on the cars neither on the location, the thing that disappoints me the most about this game is when getting contact with another car you just slide right of them going into a wall.
Game play is surprisingly good for an movie-game it is a dull game at first but you will get used to it, the cars are the right speed and the a.i is quite competitive which makes this game a challenge for you, but it can get quite frustrating for example the other cars might be faster than you when you are going top speed and when you knock them of course and are of the screen they will immediately get straight back on track and over take you.
The thing about this game that makes it a bit dull is there are no power-ups I know it will not follow the film that way but it would make the game a whole lot fun.
The music is quite descent as it is licensed so it goes well with the game, and the sound is a bit realistic to the real thing and etc.
The longtivity of this game is an approval length you would not probably complete in about two weeks at least as you would have to get used the new tracks or otherwise it will take a year to complete.
In overall Cars are a descent game to buy but it probably won't excel the film in any way.
So if you want to get this game you probably will like it but is not worth its money because of its lack of game play and reactions towards other cars and locations and if you get this game try to enjoy it while it last. :)
