A very decent platform game. Many characters with different strenghts and weaknesses, good comic book storyline, etc. Lack of online play is a disappointment, though the way it was integrated in to this game's sequal: Marvel Ultimate Alliance still leaves much to be desired.

Overall, if your looking for a good platform game/RPG, you wouldnt be wrong to pick this title up. A good 9-30 hours of gameplay, depending on how much you want to unlock.

If you like X-Men, you pretty much have to play this game. It really was a great idea to make essentially Gauntlet crossed with a RPG with X-Men characters in it. The movies are pretty bad, the level are repetitive with typically two enemies spawned over and over and over again... but it's the X-men so you don't care.
