Sequel to one of the best games to come out this, or last decade. Do yourself a favor and get one (but not from me, I'm keeping mine).
An amazingly cool and different game

This game rocks. No really, it has awesome rockin' music. It's soundtrack and that of its' predecessor, Katamari Damacy, have even won awards for music alone. The game play is addictive and it's hard to explain why it's so much fun. Basically you roll things up into a big ball. You might roll up sumo wrestlers, or try to collect origami cranes, but whatever it is you smoosh it all up into a ball. Then if you roll up well enough it becomes a star in the sky. The whole thing is wacky and has an excellent sense of humor, though some narrative portions can be a little tedious. Hours and hours of original game play, fun music, and a game that's easy enough for kids and fun enough to satisfy adults too makes for a game almost everyone will love. Trade for it if you can, but like the previous reviewer states, you're not getting my copy :).
Are YOU Ready To Roll?

I love this game. I've played through it multiple times and still have yet to tire of it.
The story is much better than the first game. The cutscenes are enjoyable and it tells a good story. I kind of wish that the levels of the game could be a bit more organized, but it really doesn't matter.
The controls are pretty nice, and you'll quickly get used to the dual-stick movement system. They really didn't have to add all the other button features to it, but I guess it's nice to dash faster and turn around 180ยบ at the drop of a dime. Every once in a while your finger will slip and you might lose some time, but it doesn't happen too often.
The graphics are pretty well-improved over Katamari Damacy's. It has a nicer look to it and somehow gets you more involved.
I really liked the rewards you get in the game, like having new cousins to play as and getting hats and other accessories to wear. It doesn't add anything to the actual gameplay, but it's still pretty fun collecting everything.
I can't wait for the 360 version of the game to come out, because I know I'll pick that up. For me, We ? Katamari gets 5 stars.
