Socom 3.5

This is what Socom 3 should've been. Most all of the main glitches have been fixed, hit detection has been tweaked. Online Lagtime isnt as bad and it better supports HDTVs. THE BEST PS2 has to offer, hands down!

I think that this game is prbably the best Socom game yet. I've played the first and the second and this one is the greatest. i wouldn't give it five stars but it has great graphics and the story line is good. I can't wait for the next!!!!!!!!!

When I first booted up the game, I listened to the excellent starting music. I got to the very well done menu, and started a new campiaign. I got through the briefing, selected weapons for my team, then began the mission. As soon as I gave the first order to my team, it all went to hell. Since I didn't want to be spotted, I gave the order to hold fire.When an enemy fired I fired back. My team did nothing.This happens frequently, and if you are still awake,know this:This game has some pretty good ideas going for it, but horrible team controls and bad A.I.(C'mon Jester, just fire the gun!) This game will have you screaming in agony and frustration quite quickly.However, multiplayer is excellent.

If you have played Socom 3 then you will be left expecting more from this game. Almost exactly the same except you can play co-op online. The graphics aren't all to brag about either

Casual Game

This game doesn't exactly have any differences from the others. Graphics are good, Online's still great as ever, Socom Confrontation looks kick ass

this saddens me because socom broke ground with the ps2. now its a average shooter, with fun stuff to do, many glitches and difficult. buy only if you plan on playing fireteam bravo two, for psp. other than that, don't.

PS2's Greatest

This game is by far one of the best for PS2 multiplayer! I have all the socoms and this one has really proven itself. It has lots of gametypes like Demolition (my favorite), Extraction, Escort, and many more. There aren't many third-person shooters out there like this! If you have a PS2, or PS3, make sure to mooch this!

P.S. The Socom 3 servers are shared with the CA servers since CA has all of the original maps!
