When your playing the game u intend to be in a sticky situation were your either out of ammo or low health and no herbs or spray pritty much everytime u walk outside u see a black bird or birds sitting around those birds are there for a reason for u to get health or ammo from them so when u see the black birds sitting around shoot them and either ammo will fall out or health if u dont want to use ammo use a flash gernade that kills them one hit.Sometimes u will get a crapload of money or pasos so thats that have fun hunting

A Perverted Leon

Please NOTE: This can only be done after you have rescued Ashley. When you climb up a ladder with Ashley, wait until she has got to the top and jump down. The catch action will appear (Press 'X' to Catch) and instead of catching Ashley, aim your crosshair at Ashley's skirt. She will cover it up and then call you a pervert.

INFINATE Rocket Launcher

Just beat the game and go to any of the merchant guys but, the infinate launcher will still cost 1 million dollars( or whatever this stupid game calls its currency). Also many other good weapons are available for purchase AFTER beating the game. Just go up to any merchant dude.

Assignment Ada

After you beat the game you can go to extras to play Assignment Ada. When you get far enough you can buy a bowgun. If you buy it you will need to save all the ammo for chapter 5 when you fight Lord Saddler. I sold all the ammo and didn't buy the gun untill right before I fought him. Save your ammo if you buy it. There are three bowgun bolts for it in front of you when you start the fight but that is not enough. After you hit him enough he opens his mouth. When he does this then go up to him and stab him. If you did what I did then keep your rifle. It really helps. There is ammo for your rifle in the room in front of you when you start. If you run out of ammo for both then shoot him in the head a lot. When he grabs you then shake the joystick and Ada will stab him. This takes down some of his health too. I won by making him open up his mouth twice by shooting him in the head with the rifle and chest with the bowgun, then he grabbed me several times and I stabbed him in the mouth untill he died. It may take a lot of health and tries but you will win. Trust me.

After you unlock the infinite laucher and the chicago tipewriter it's best to buy the typewriter first because blowingthigs away is not what gets you the money, doing it right is. trust me, if you buy the typewriter first you will hae the money for the launcher before the nd of the game

Make Ashley Hide

This really isn't a secret, but I didn't realize at first how useful this is. Some levels have a large box/trunk that Ashley will hide in if you tell her to. She cant be attacked while she's in the box. So, where your fighting your way through crowds of zombies and trying to protect Ashley, have her hide in a box while you take care of business. Then call her out when the enemies are defeated. I found this to be a big help in tough battles, and Ashley looks kinda cute jumping in and out of those boxes : )

Unlock PRL 412
Clear Leon's Story on Professional difficulty to unlock the PRL 412 weapon. It has two settings -- stun and kill (just like Star Trek) which you may determine by holding or tapping the fire button. It has infinite ammunition.

Unlock Thompson Gun
To unlock the Thompson Submachinegun, clear Leon's story mode (any difficulty) and complete Ada's story mode (Separate Ways). Purchase it from the Roma merchant when playing a new game plus.

Ada can also have the weapon available for her own side-story mission (Assignment Ada) simply simply clearing that particular mode once. Again, speak with the Roma merchant to access it.

Hint: Exclusive Weapon Powers
Each weapon has a special "exclusive power" when all of its stats are custom tuned to the maximum:

HANDGUN- 5 times more of a chance of critacal head shot
PUNISHER- Each bullet can penetrate up to five bodies.
RED 9- Increases firepower to 6.5
BLACKTRAIL- Increases firepower to 3.4
MATILDA- Increases magazine capacity to 100.
SHOTGUN- Increases the effective damage range of the gun.
RIOTGUN- Increases firepower to 10.0 and 8.0 at long range
STRIKER- Increases magazine capacity to 100.
RIFLE- Increases firepower to 30.0
SEMIAUTO RIFLE- Decreases firing speed to 0.42 seconds.
BROKEN BUTTERFLY- Increases damage to 50.0
KILLER7- No exclusive power!

Easter Egg: Gangster Pose
In order to do this trick you need to first pick Leon's gangster outfit, and then equip the Chicago Typewriter machinegun. Reload the machinegun a few times in a row and Leon will pose.

Hint - Keep The Special Rocket Launcher
Without using a Gameshark (or similar device), you can keep the Special Launcher Ada throws down during the final fight. Simply unlock the P.R.L. weapon unlocked by completing Professional difficulty mode to waste Saddler. When Ada tosses out the Special Launcher, get it, and finish Saddler with the P.R.L. When you begin the game again, you will have Special Launcher (note still one shot).
Easter Egg
Leon may sit in the red throne after the laser hallway by inspecting it. Nothing interesting occurs, but it makes for an interesting screenshot.

El Gigante x2 money

during the fight between u and the two el gigante you can knock one of them into the "fire pit" but when you do and after you beat the other one you only get the money for fighting one so after you collect the money progress to the next room then come back and then you will see the money for beating the el gigante that fell into the pit
