BEST NHL YET!!!

this game is pretty sweet the only bad thing is that it is too similar to NHL 06 but it is still very sweet! the gameplay is awesome graphics are great the speed of the gameplay is awesome its real fun to make your created guy u can choose what kind of skates visors and helmets from all the top brands in hockey and u can also make your guy with scars, black eyes, and even broken noses if you are a big hockey fan it is a great game to school all your friends in. Highly reccomended!

This game is so awesome the only bad thing about it is that you cant choose your payroll for your players.

Controls/Gamepaly: 8/10- Not Bad but thats even a little to leaniant to a game that decided to make its passing game revolve around one analog stick. While the passing game is very nice and smooth, I cringe every time a perfect rebound goal (while the whole side is open) is taken away from me by my pitifull controller as i insanely tap R2 to no avail. If you have to have a quick stick in hockey why not on the PS2 controller? Still passing game is smooth, LOVE the pokecheck feature which absolutely kicks ass and I love how they assigned some of the buttons like X and O to things like blocking shots, tie-ups, and hits.

Graphics: 7/10- the graphics are pretty nice but the way the game portrays the faces of some of the real players is absoulutely horrible. The way they show Ryan Miller in that game is an atrocity to mankind and all of hockey so next time don't make him look like a greasy Italian. (no offense)
Overall a good solid hockey game.

the graphics are nice and smooth and physics are sweet but the simulator machine is not very random for example 3 out of every 5 game you simulate, you would lose the game. and the player's faces all look alike and some sound needs to come out of their mouth when they talk. the artificial intelligence is dumber than i expected it to be too. a player cpming to get the puck would sometimes go the wrong way and do some other weird stuff. all in all, this is a game worth giving a try, but not really a smash hit.
