Plays Brilliantly, great song selection, the guitar works flawlessly with the game great multiplayer, hands down a must have for 06 if their is something wrong with this game is the $30 price tag on the guitar.

Very fun and addicting game, and there's tons of things to get done, so it will take a VERY long time before you get bored of it. Practice mode really helps, though. I don't have the first one yet to compare.

A reason to keep your old PS2

the new songs are great! hammer-ons and offs are easier in this version. the new practice mode is great. multiplayer is much better. can't wait for next years 360 version and the ability to download content on xbox live!

This game is the best game ever. I've never played the first one though so I can't compare. Multiplayer is wicked fun. You can play for five hours and not notice with this.

Guitar Hero was great, and the sequel adds a lot of great things - first is a co-op mode, playing together to rock out is awesome. Also, playing at different diffuculty levels, both in head to head and co-op modes, is a welcome change that allows all challengers to compete in a more balanced way, regardless of how much of their life has been consumed by this game. Then, the band switching mode is better, allowing two or more people to share the same memory card in a more intuitive way.

The change in focus to a harder, edgier group of music is very cool, as the songs tend to have more of that "monster riff" groove that I like, but this also could be a downside other people. If you liked songs like "Bark at the Moon", "Cowboy from Hell", and "Thunderkiss 65" in Guitar Hero, you'll like the direction that Guitar Hero II's set list has gone. If you dislike those, then this sequel's gone the way of Star Wars episode 1 for you...

When you pick this game up, make sure its a game&guitar bundle. When you plug this in, you'll have so much fun playing it, you might just stay up all night playing it. This game is okay in graphics but the venues and songs and music is so wicked awesome. I'm not sure about multiplayer though!

I watched someone play the first one and i had to get the second, it is an awesome game the first night i played i was up until 5am. I bought a playstation just to play this game. I have almost beat the game and then i am buying the first one. If you don't have this game you gotta get it.

I love this game it helps the your fingering to play a real guitar! so it's a great game for if people to play. GREAT GAME! so worth 30 points!

I HATE THIS GAME. I cant beleive alot fo people like it. This game is nothing like a real guitar,and they dont even have a story line to it. Yeah the graphics and the sounds are great, but there is no story line. Good games need a story line and this isnt a good game. Im thinking that guitar hero 3 is going to need a sotry line or else im going to get it to break it. Hope someone agrees with me.

I first played this game in Best Buy. Lets just say I was hooked. I bought the game that day and have played it ever since. There isn't a storyline, but playing the guitar is fun enough. If you like DDR, you'll love this game.

This game is the best. Harmonix showed they could continue there already great guitar phenom with a sequel. Progressing throgh this game is fun when your looking for more challenges to get so much money to spend in the store on guitars , guitar finishes, characters , characters outfits, and videos. having progressed from easy to expert shows how much of videogame dwellers we are. I can play this game all day! Besides this game being so amusing it can be fun to challenge your friends in co-op mode or pro-face off for even more fun. All of these songs are fun to play and i hope to see more attempts on making more guitar games in the future.

this is possibly the best game for ps2 at the moment it is s fun and so addictive i personnaly think if you like rock music you should buy this if your a fat chav then dont even bother lookin at this game you are not worthy

I was skeptical about this game at first, mainly because i usually hate games like this (DDR). After i first played it at wal*mart, i instantly went out to my car to grab my credit card and bought it and haven't stopped playing it since i bought it. It was a little pricey though.

I think this game is really awesome!!!!! I have almost beat the game and i am waiting for guitar hero3 to come out so i can buy it and rock on!!! This game will keep you busy for hours and you can even play with friends on compete mode!

This game is a great game and it is sooo much fun. This game is on of those game where you play it and you just cant put it down. If you love playing guitar and music this is the game for you.

To unlock every song go to main menu and press quickly these buttons:blue, yellow, orange, red, orange, yellow, red, THEN KEEP TAPPING YELLOW, RED AT THE END TILL CHEAT IS ACTIVATED!!!!!

this game is extremely fun to play especially with friends. the only thing I don't like about this game is that it gets very hard in the end, some of the songs are almost impossible to beat but it is still so fun. recommend buying it.
