Demonsbane
Hint by hey78900 on May 01, 2007 | report this hint
In the Tomb Of The Great King (King Thornwall or whatever name ends with the word wall), there is a secret door in the tomb that gives you the Demonsbane sword, which adds +59 to attack. After you defeat the two Demon walls in the main corridor there will be three teleport pedestals. The middle one takes you back to the beginning of the tomb. The others need to be activated. Take the right path and explore the area until you reach a room with a jewel in the wall. Activate the jewel. An altar will rise and give you a brief description of what it is. Take the teleporter pedestal back to the others. Then, take the left path. Explore the area to find another jewel in a room. Activate it and an altar will lower, leading you to the room with Belias. However, do not go this way yet. Backtrack to the room with the activated jewel and teleporter pedestal. Take it back to the others, then take the first pedestal back to beginning. If you defeated the first Demon wall, behind where the demon wall was located is another jewel. Activate it, then take either of the new stairways to the secret area that does not show up on the map which are to the left and the right. When you go through the doors you can take either way to the bottom. However, be careful as there will be many high level elementals that fall from the ceiling. At the very bottom of the staircases, go towards the middle. There will be a chest which contains the Demonsbane.
During the first trip to Raithwall's tomb make sure to be at least level 17 and have Quickenings. Fight and defeat the first Demon Wall you encounter. The best way is to use a Quickening chain to start off. You can also set the game speed to fast because this optional Boss is not affected by it. Make sure you do at least 6,000 to 8,000 damage during your Quickening chains. If you run out of MP, either use an Ether or just change that character with another who also has Quickening(s). You will probably have to fight it out at the end of your chains. When you defeat this Boss, go back and save. Then, continue over the bridge where you defeated the first Demon Wall and proceed through to defeat another, who is pretty easy. Once this is done, go back to where the first Demon Wall was located and you will see a glowing stone. Touch it to reveal two staircases. Go down either of them and follow the path down. You do not have to fight the enemies encountered -- just run past them. You will reach a chest which has a 30 to 40% chance of being the Demonsbane. If the chest is different, quit the game, return to the title screen, and repeat. You can keep doing this until you get as many Demonsbane as desired. They can also be sold for 3,000 Gil each. Note: This requires some patience and time.
Finding The Final Esper Zodiark!
Hint by DarkSerenity on August 08, 2007 | report this hint
To begin, talk to Geomancer Yugelu in Jahara after the party finds at least 10 Espers. Yugelu then unlocks the path within the Henne mines that leads to Zodiark. The path is just north of the stage shaft in the Ore separation room. The crystal in the staging shaft is the closest point to Zodiark, SO USE IT! Remember " the path to Zodiark is very tricky and dangerous so you might want to equip Float on your party to avoid traps".
Other Info: Ensure to equip everyone with a black mask so that Zodiarks "DARKJA" does little or no damage!
For more questions feel free to ask : )
I also know the way to Yiazmat and the Omega Mark Xll!
Little HInt for those you want good items
Hint by Schmidty_89 on February 08, 2008 | report this hint
Well all im saying is there is some areas in this game that are optional. Two are located beyond the Salikawood past the fire bomb boss. im sure u picked up the Urn to get the map for the area and the two entrances are the top left and somewhere near the top right. Both are pretty hard places and recommend lvls of 40+ or have completed the Pharos tower. use any type of method to get loot drops (steal, poach, etc) The areas are the Necrohol of Nabudis, and the Nabreus Deadlands. Necrohol is the harder area of the two but also a secret shop in this area too. Starting from the Salikawood entrance, go straight and make a right at the first entrance. now make a left out into the hall with enemies in the first corridor. after defeating the enemies, keep hugging the north wall and pass the first right but make the second right turn. make your way into wat looks like a dead end room but when u walk in, look to the south and find a hidden room. AGAIN, defeat the enemies and go to the southeast corner of the hidden room. u will see "???" pop up and press X. a man will pop out and gives u good items that can help u beat the game easier i guess.

Order of Ambrosia-----Final Rank
Hint by 2ofus on March 31, 2008 | report this hint
It is very difficult to reach final clan rank - Order of Ambrosia. To get it,
you need to fulfill following conditions:
- obtain 1000000 clan points (heck, I had 10000000)
- Sky Pirate's Den must be full
- defeat all 45 marks
- Once you have all that, go to Rabanastre and see Mont in [Clan Hall], then
speak to him to receive following rewards:
- for Order of Ambrosia rank: Centurio Hero's Badge, 3x Teleport Stone
- Yeah, that's your *ultimate reward* for all that effort, a stinking badge.
You know what would be cool? If I could change all of those clan points for
gil... now that would really be something.
- Go to any merchant and sell off Omega Badge, Godslayer's Badge and Lu Shang's
Badge. This will cause Dragon Crest bazaar item to appear - cough up 65535 gil
(yep) and Wyrmhero Blade is yours. Sword itself isn't too shabby - 130 ATT with
holy element, 50% to EVA, 80% to combo, and gives Bravery and Faith. Two things
suck - it has 99 CT, and you obtain it after all the strongest enemies have
already been defeated
Getting the Ribbon
Hint by 2ofus on April 02, 2008 | report this hint
- By clearing Great Crystal and having Treaty-Blade in your possession you now
have second chance to get a Ribbon - travel to [Ozmone Plain / Haulo Green].
Here you usually find six Red and Black Chocobos - kill them all, then zone two
areas away to have chocos respawn and come back. There is a 1/256 chance that
Lv99 Red Chocobo will replace one of chocos, and this is the one you are after.
Be advised that it may take a long time for Lv99 Red Chocobo to spawn, and do
not be fooled by its HP gauge that says 99999 HP. This choco has infact 239686
HP and will put up quite a fight, which is made hard by bird constantly
spamming Choco-Comet - expect to take 4000-5000 dmg per strike. As the skill
deals physical damage, equip shield with high EVA (Ensanguined Shield maybe)
and start cranking down on its HP. Once you defeat it, it drops Ribbon 100% of
the time.
