Great Game!!

A great sequel to the original Battlefield, adds more depth to an already great series. No real single player game mode, but one of the best multi-player games to date.
A lot of potential, but not enough go-power

Battlefield 2 is not a bad game, first and foremost. It is a very fun, and perhaps even semi-addictive game. I've logged well over 500 hours in online multiplayer matches over the years, and no doubt, it is one heck of a blast. It is not, however, without serious flaws. Balance issues have and still do plague this game to no end. While realistic in that aspect, it can and does provide for an un-fun playing experience for newcomers. Constantly getting killed by people with the top unlocks and being bested by a skilled J-10 pilot will be enough to fry at least some nerves. That aside, it requires a lot of power to run without lag, and it can be somewhat questionable when it comes to hit detection and hitboxing.
All problems aside, it's a fun experience with great map layouts, a simple yet addictive capture point gameplay system, and should provide hours upon hours of noob-fragging, head-shooting, hump-catting (wtf?) fun.
