While In 2p Mode If You Want To Have Metal Characters You must hold a and y while the level is loading.
The other hint i put is wrong do not try!!!
Shining Characters

On the 2 players mode, when the level is loading, press and hold the y and a buttons at the same time. your characters should shine. [does not work in story mode]

in the robot carnival, build your team blast up everytime a set of robots appear
when you use your team blast it will give u multiple amouts of rings
this can also work on the one after the haunted mansion
