"It shoots…. HE SCORES! NHL 2003 Scores 9!"

Features 9/10:
This is second best NHL series of games ever made in my opinion. It’s just great in graphics and great in gameplay. It has special modes and you can just play for fun. You can choose playoffs, tournament or just Play Now. You can just create players and create teams. They even have 2 teams that you can take players from other teams and put them onto the team. So you have 2 ultimate teams. The problem with that is you can never decide who to put on your roster. It also lets you trade players in the franchise and playoff games.
Graphics 6/10:
The Graphics aren’t as good as the gameplay or sound of the game. It doesn’t describe the characters faces and emotions much. The crowd isn’t that good either. I only play as the Vancouver Canucks because I’m a huge fan of the team. I noticed that the Coach has NO resembles what so ever to Marc Crawford. He looks totally different. There’s a SLIGHT resemblance but barely any. So it's not that great but its ok. It doesn’t affect the game THAT much though. I replayed the game I noticed something about the Crowd. Their just Carboards... With wierd outlines to them. NHL 2003 did not work on the crowd ONE bit. Except when they focus on the crowd.
Music and Sound 9/10:
The music is terrific. It’s just awesome. There are a lot of talented singers in this game. I didn’t know any of them until this song. It really fits with the gameplay and makes you feel like you're in it. And than there are the announcers. They’re great. They get you into the game and you feel just like you’re in the game. This game pretty much has everything you would want to be in the music/sound category. So I’d probably say its one of the best.
Gameplay 10/10:
The game play is really awesome. I’ll explain it bit by bit. First up is Play Now. Play now is where you can choose any team in the NHL and any team from the different continents and the Olympic Challengers. Like team Canada and Team Swiss. You pick your team and you pick a team for the computer or a human player. You can play up to 4 players in this, and any other mode. Once you finish choosing your team, it’ll ask for the jersey you and your opponent will wear, and some rules such as Line chances. You can also set the handy cap. Once you’re in the actual game you can move, shoot, pass and deke. You can also hit players. You can get BIG HITS. Which get you various points. You can deke by using the C stick or automatically but pressing the Y button. Once you get into the game, you’ll get the feel of everything. You can also get your slow mo meter to the highest position. Than once you press Z you go in slow mo for about 10 secs. You can score goals easier that way. The next few modes are pretty much the same. But in the Franchise mode you have to play a lot of teams and it’s just like a real franchise. You play 32, 64, or 102 games. Once you get in the top 12 than you can go to the Playoffs, after than you go to the Stanley Cup Finals and win it, if you’re good.
