One of the best sequels ever.

Echoes is a spectacular game. It bring out all the elements that made the original awesome, then added a few happy jiggles.
For one the story line is a complete surprise. Samus receives a distress call and then finds herself on a planet that being ripped apart by in a civil war between the Light and Dark dimensions. And the story is completely incorporated into the action. You’re constantly moving between worlds. And while in the Light world things are pretty much normal, in the Dark word it’s like being in an acidic environment. You’re constantly taking damage in you’re not in the Light sources and all the creature are quite a bit stronger. It makes the game quite challenging.
Same as before the environments are simply amazing. Retro really has a gift for that. The movement and system controls are well balanced. It does get a little tedious with shifting between different visors and weapons, but you get used to it fast.
Overall, awesome game and well worth the 10 pts.

This is a great game! Story Mode is very fun! Many upgrades along the way, you unlock new suits for Samus, also there are new weapons for her. Multi-player is also very fun with two people. This game certainly offers a great gaming experience.

Honestly I didnt really get that far I mean for me I think personally it was far enough but to others maybe i didnt even scratch the surface but for me the game just got really repetitive and the controls to me dont give you great manuvering I mean yea you can side step but like doing 360 turn arounds and looking up to attack was very slow. And annoying but the biggest thing that I hated which is an old syle of game play is switching between two different worlds light and dark that parallel each other but are different not to mention the dark world you take damage but later you get a upgrade suit but you still take damage also I hate the dieing part having to start all over again. But basically to cut it short the regular enemies dont envovle any skill and are really just annoying at most The bosses however require some skills but it get lame waiting 3 hours before you fight another boss and guess what wow a new upgrade didnt see that one coming so if you like repetative action over and over again flopping between light dark world and scanning almost everything you see then this game is for you good luck I hope Part 3 is better on the Wii. Ill give it a try before i knock it since I didnt finish the game and I am not fully qualified to really speak on this game for that reason I rate it a 4 out of 5 if that make sense respect to the people who actually had the time and patience to beat the game LOL.
