This is a game that plays like Tactics Ogre: The Knight Of Lodis , and Final Fantasy Tacticts Advance , u have a team of players who u train and level up to become even more powerful, but this game isnt as customizable as FFTA(final fantasy tactics advance) , in this game u cant change your class of a character instead they are unique and are good with one weapon and some magic abilities depending on your level
GamePlay 9/10 :
I really like playing this game and the gameplay is very good! Its very easy to catch on to. There is also quite a few of customizable equipment that is unlockable throughout the game that your character can equip. The controls are very easy to learn also , u move a character to a space that he or she can move to , unlike Tactics Ogre:The Knight Of Lodis or Final Fantasy Tactics Advance , u dont have to worry about your characters direction he or she is facing
Story 9/10 :
Im not really sure but I think this games story is carried off from the onimusha storyline. But basically the hero if this game is a young swordsman named Onimaru and his swordsman sister who find out later in the game that they are the few remaining people from the Oni clan and Onimaru is handed the Oni gauntlet to help fight against the evil forces of the Genma ( demons from under the earth who were staying hidden until there thirst for human blood)
Graphics/Sound 7/10 :
This would be the worst part of Onimusha Tacticts. The graphics arent the best out there but they are good enough for a great strategy game and is enough for you to understand. The same goes with sound. No voices though just text which is good in some ways.
Music 9/10 :
OniMusha Tactics music is great! It always seems to be playing the right song depending on the moment of battle.
Play time/Replay 5/10 :
Onimusha Tactics is said to offer about 40 hour game length. I havent beaten it yet but I have gotten a lot of time in it so far just leveling my characters and making sure my characters have good equipment. But I can tell that this game dosent have to much replayability. You do get a choice of a lot of differant type of characters you can bring in, but honesty, the characters arent to different it really just depepnds on there weapons , lets say u have 2 spearmen the difference is how they look , there stat growths and maybe some different special abilities but they just really arent different. Playing through the game twice wont offer you anything new and exciting to do just the same great game .
Final Recommendation 9/10 (above average) :
Personally I like this game a lot. It is a lot of fun to play through, it is got some very unique features to it that werent featured in other tactics games, and it is a pretty fun turn based rpg version of a fast paced action game. However this game is not perfect for everybody. Some people may think it is horrible or is a waste of time compared to FFTA because of how its not as complexed and all. Well...I d
