Secret Bridge!

In the course Boo Lake (under Flower Cup) after you jump over the beginning two red/yellow...thingies...and round the corner STOP to where you see the X floorboards and travel towards the blank black space. Stop before you fall and you'll see an invisible bridge that glows green every few seconds or so.

These are great for beating your times:
In Ribbon Road (under Star Cup) and Cheese Land (under Flower Cup), use a mushroom on the FIRST red/yellow bridge jump and quickly veer off to the right. If you do this correctly, you'll end up 5 or 6 seconds farther along in the tracks.
