Ok Game.

Well, I bought this game on sale at a GameStop and it came out to be a bit of a dissapointment. It just doesn't hold much water as a racing title. The handling is very loosey-goosey, which is fine in a way because it's an arcade racer, but this goes too far. Mario Kart DS is a much better choice and there really isn't a good racer besides that out for the system right now. Like Guilty Gear in fighting for the DS (at the time of this review), Mario Kart is a much better choice though of course the whole feel and montage of the two games are a bit different. But Ridge Racer DS feels a bit watered-down and not quite worth the money, especially if someone payed full price for the title. Undoubtedly fun and tempting to buy because of the Ridge Racer brand, but other than that this is probably one to avoid in favor of Mario Kart or just another title or investment altogether.

this is by far my most favorite game out for the ds. i have owned it since it came out. this game dates back to (as far as i know) ps1 and n64.

graphics: 10/10
game play: 9/10
cars: 10/10 there r some great cars in this game
the point: its a racing game get in first and be the best
multiplayer?: it has multiplayer for multi card and single card so play with friends that could woop your butt or play with friends that get there butt woopped.

all in all. this is a great game if you like racing. i have played some good racing games like San Francisco Rush series Rush 2049 and Asphalt Urban GT. all great games but in my opinion ridge racer ds is the best

game play: 10/10 you can steer the car with the touch screen. HOW COOL IS THAT!!??!!

cars: 10/10 there r some great cars in this game
