Very Neat

The first game of its kind in which you embark upon an adventure, the adventure of a Pirate. The whole storyline is basically to save your family from the evil pirate, Baron, u need to uncover secrets and everything. In the beginning you choose a side to be good with. If your friends with Dutch, u attack whoever is at war with them. You take over ports and cities, get married, fight crazy duels with famous pirates, attack other ships, and lots of other things. This game never gets boring because there is just so much to do!

Pirates! comes from a long line of successful Pirates! games before it. I don't know why the developers decided to go against the great traditions it had before. The graphics are cartoony and not really pleasing to the eye, the dancing mini-game because boring and repetitive and once you complete all the acheviements there really isnt much more to the game. I own Pirates! Gold for Sega and I hade Pirates! for PC for awhile. Those were good games. I believe Pirates! Gold is even better than this Pirates game. If your new to the series, buy this game. If you have expectations from previous Pirates games, rent this game...don't buy it.
