NASCAR THUNDER 2002

NASCAR THUNDER 2002 is not a very good game. When it first came out the graphics were apparently great, but now compared to the modern NASCAR games it looks horrible. The graphics on NASCAR THUNDER 2002 are the worst. The tracks look like they're plastic. the pit stops are OK but arent as good as todays animated pit stops. Burnouts and donuts suck. If you hold the brake while doing one your car will come to a complete stop and you cant do it. If you take stability control off just the slightest mistake will spin you around. Its so frustrating when you have hardly any contact with another car and then you spin out and they keep going. Its so hard to win a race on any track. When you are in the lead and your about to finish a lap everyone will come shooting up at you and pass you. When your at Martinsville every time you hit a turn you go flying into the wall, and when you do have control coming into a turn the car behind you will slam into your back bumper and you'll go flying into the wall. You dont have very many things to do on this game. All you can do is race, do season mode, do career mode, and create a car. It takes forever to unlock that eight championships video. I wouldn't suggest this game to anyone, but it's still better than 2001. Thats the only reason why I give NASCAR THUNDER 2002 two stars.
