The energy/stamina level of the characters suck! Everything thing else is a total '5 Star'. I'm sorry, but the energy level of your character is depleted entirely too fast; and i must take away 2 stars for this most important factor. Forget about that last effort comeback, or a second wind. What was THQ thinking? It would have been a total smash had it not been for this most important drawback. I want to be able to play the damn game without having to worry about being punched in the face twice and never being able to recover.
But, to play the Devils advocate, I do believe it was THQ's intention to bring more 'skill' to the game rather than the 'button smash' method. By preventing your character to recover in shorter periods of time and dis-allowing your energy meter to increase quickly forces the user to use other aspects of the game to conserve the energy that he has. It forces the user to use blocks and reversals. Effectively using these counter-attacks allows the stamina of your character to last twice as long. It takes practice, but hey, that's what games are all about. Unfortunately, if your having a bad day with timing moves, button smashing will not get you through any of the matches.
Other than that, the graphics are sweet, and the amount of options seem endless. My suggestion in getting this game is immediately start practicing the timing of your counter-attacks. Forget about the rest of the character's moves except for the strict basics. Get the timing down for counter-attacks and your experience will be much more enjoyable, and last a whole lot longer. Hope this helps!

This game is possibly the best wrestling game to come out since last year's game! The new control scheme on the 360 controller is just great! Season Mode is fairly long and tedious but after you've dinged 99 on your CAW you'll be glad you went through the entire season. Speaking of CAW's create a wrestler mode got a bit worse :[. With less hairstyles and even worse outfits then last year, making your CAW look like a retarded wrestler is easy. If you ever get on Live you're bound to see an extremely UGLY wreslter! Oh ya and speaking of Live....it's the best online mode for a wrestling game ever......Basically being able to actually play for fun WITHOUT the whole ranking bull is great. Although you can play Ranked matches you'll spend most of your time in Player matches. All in all; Great Gameplay, Graphics, and Controls but BAD, BAD, BAD Create a Wrestler Mode

This is the best wrestling game that i can think of. The graphics are great, it even includes sweat on the wrestlers. The create-a-entrance really lets you custamize someones entrance. Though not every thing on this game is good. The commentary gets repettitive, animations take a while to complete, and the stamina meter goes down really fast, though you can turn this off in the options menu. Also the create-a-wrestler got a lot worst, there are a lot less hair styles and clothing options to choose from. Not to mention sometimes when a created wrestler has won the match the announcer will say a completly different name. Finally the season mode is just a bunch of stupid little segments that you will always get, which is a major bummer. Overall i would say buy it but don't expect a great game expect a good game.

The WWE knocks the snot out of the world with an all-new multi-platform wrestling smackfest. New additions this year include a brand new analog control grappling system, new high-impact movesets, user-controlled environmental hotspots and an interactive fighting area within the crowd. In addition, the game includes updated rosters for Raw and SmackDown, an expanded General Manager Mode and online multiplayer game play with voice chat support. Pretty good
One of the best, but not the best wrestling games there is. Its best on the Xbox 360, and wrose on PSP. So much stuff on this game, and things to do. Season and career mode are fun to do. Many match types.

let me start by saying, nothing gets me more in the mood for HARDCORE love making than a can of bud, tractors, homosexuals losing rights, and SMACK DOWN VS RAW 2007. I am a form believer that nothing helps BOOST your sex life than playing this game while stabbing the swashbuckler, if you know i mean. Oinking the pig. Jumping the train. I have traveled across the country performing lectures, and debating with others my theory. And to all who doubt this, i have chosen my words carefully, so hear this........FUCK YOU. With This game, i do the dirty sanches 8 times a week. DID i say week, i meant day!!! I said weak because i was thinking about YOU, and you are weak. And as i beat my 16-abbed chest as i right this. i think, thank you Jesus for showing me this miracle game. YOU ROCK
You dont like The Finishers here it is what you should use to make it real

Transition year
Reviewed by XnocreativityX on February 01, 2008 | report this review
Much like the first PS2 Smackdown game, Smackdown vs. RAW 2007 is a "Transition year" game where not much is changed over the PS2 versions making it not very "next generation." It's still a lot of fun and the only play is a nice addition (with a better setup than ps2), but the long load times and marginally improved graphics make it hard to suggest. You are better off getting 2008 as they made a lot of changes and improvements. This is for the hardcore only who want more achivements (which will take forever to get).
Best Wrestling Game In Awhile
Reviewed by misfitdrummer on February 20, 2008 | report this review
I think this is one of the best wrestling games that came out since PS2 came out with here comes the pain, The gameplay is fun the grappling system works great, One thing that prevents this from getting a 5 star is that ive ran into glitchs and the stamina bar, The stamina bar gets quite annoying and even when you have your stats up it still is. And when you try to recover from a move it takes like 15 seconds to get up. The Countering System also works great. This is a great wrestling game if your into wrestling.
