Yes, I wondered how a game about pinatas living in a garden
could possibly be entertaining. I soon found out. You will not want to put this game down. The immersing, colorful environment is one reason, but it's just so much fun! This is a game that everyone in the family can truly enjoy.

You race around a adding things and tending to it to attract (while keeping your current pinata residents happy and healthy) other pinata. You also get to romance the pinata and make them have young.

Who'd have thought you'd work so hard for a better shovel? Well, you do, and you love it.

If you are into sims style games (but in a more fun, rewarding, colorful experience) pick up this game.

Oh well the first thing you probably thought when you saw Viva Pinata was that it was a stupid annoying game. I dont blame you, because I thought that too. ALTHOUGH, I was soon convinced otherwise. This game is very fun and exiting and i swear you cannot put it down. I myself like sports and shooting games but was amazed how great this hame was. Final Rating= 9.5 of10.

at first you think it is going to be a kids game but after you play it for awhile you become hooked. this is a good family game be prepared to spend hours tending your garden

People will look at this game and think this game is horrible. I will tell you different because this game has to be one of the best E games I have ever played. There is a sequel coming out called Viva Pinata-Party Animals. this is a must have.

Don't let the cartoony kiddie look and the E rating fool you. This is one of the more inovative, interesting games I have seen in a long time. I bought this game for my daughter and started playing it with her. Next thing you know, I have my own garden.

In Viva Pinata you make a garden, and the goal is to make the garden in such a way as to attract various different types of pinatas to come live there. This is easy at first, but gets harder to attract the more valuable pinatas as the game advances.

Each pinata has variants. For example, if you light a common Taffly on fire with the torch, and then put it out with water, it will become a Reddhott. There are many variants total in the game that will keep you researching for hours and hours on how to get them all.

There are vendors in the game as well that you can visit to buy seeds, common pinatas, houses and garden items. There are also people in the town that you can hire to work in your garden. If you need help watering the garden you need to hire a Sprinkling, or if you need help with weed control you can hire a Weedling. You can also go into town and buy items for you pinatas such as sunglasses, hats, and shoes.

If you desire you can breed the pinatas. You can cross breed to make different variants as well. This is one of the ways that you can make extra money so you can buy more items for your garden. Anything that is born in your garden will be tagged with your own custom made tag that shows you were the creator. This is good because you can go to the post office and ship pinatas to friends on Xbox Live.

Finally, the general quality of the game is top notch. The character design, music, and attention to detail is better than most games out there.

There is more about this game to talk about but I will leave that for you to find on your own. This game is not fast paced, but if you like to build, research, and watch the life in your garden unfold, this game is a must try.

At first glance when you see Viva Pinata it doesn't appear to be a game that anyone could like, but don't that fool you this game is surprisinly fun for me even though i mostly just play hardcore games. Graphicly this game does pretty good. The blend of all the colors and the unique things you will find in it makes it appeal to most people's likings. The pure essence of collecting totally different types of pinatas, breeding them, evolving them, and then eventually selling them is really fun and interesting. The fact that you get to keep your current status and money while creating a new garden makes it possible to get the pinatas that require a lot of water and the ones that need a lot of grass. Overall I give it a 4.7/5.0
