How to convert Sour Bonboon

Hint by sepiaone on April 16, 2007  |  report this hint

Bonboon: Have it lose a fight against a Syrupent, Twingersnap, or Fourheads. Fourheads works best, just direct him to the Bonboon to start the fight.

Pigxie Come Home

Hint by jicrichton on November 04, 2007  |  report this hint

If you want to make a Pigxie, or flying pig, in Viva Pinata you need the following:

1- A Rashberry and Rashberry House
2- A Swanana and Swanana House
3- Mystery House (It has a flying pig statue on top)

You need to meet the romance requirements for the Rashberry and Swanana and you romance the two together. You will need the Mystery House to get the Pigxie to become a resident in your garden.

You can get a Blue Pigxie by feeding it one bluebell seed. You can get a green pigxie by eating one gooseberry fool. The red pigxie is gotten by feeding a pigxie one water lily flower, one poppy flower, and one gem tree seed.

Easy Money

Hint by moosecow on November 06, 2007  |  report this hint

You can get very easy money by using a taffly. All you need is a tiki torch in your garden. What you do is buy a taffly the standard way(not a resident yet)You feed a taffly one flower for it to become a resident) or the express way(automatically a resident). The express is 600 and standard is 300. Then, you lead the taffly over to the tiki torch and set it on fire. When it is on fire, take out your watering pail or else it will become sick. then, the taffle will transform into a Redhott. When you sell the redhott, it's worth 2100 which is making easy money.

Fast Easy Cash!

Hint by jicrichton on November 13, 2007  |  report this hint

If you are always running out of money and need an easy way to get more read this and never want for cash again. It is easy but takes a little patience. The first thing that you need to do is plant 5 chili seeds in the shape that you see on the side of a dice as close together as possible. Then take some red fertilizer and sprinkle it on the chilis 3 times. If you planted them close enough you should be able to get all five at once. 3 times will get you the max size chili. Once this is done, don't forget to water the chilis so that they will grow. the chilis will mature and fall off the plant and at this time they are ready for sale.

You can make more money even faster by planting 9 chilis in 3 rows of 3 as close together as you can. This is also possible to fertilize them all at once.

I made tons of cash by selling the big chilis.

Have fun!

The Begger Is Your Friend

Hint by jicrichton on November 13, 2007  |  report this hint

So, are playing in your new garden and are tired of Professor Pester and his Ruffian friends? There is a solution to this problem that just takes a little time and money.

At Level 9 there is an old begger in your garden that you should be nice to, and when he asks for money you should give him 1000 coins all at once or a little at a time. Once you reach this amount of coins donated to the begger he will take the money and open up Ivor Bargain's store. Ivor has some good things in his store and he will remember your kindness with good deals. Now you need to get to level 30, and then go to Ivor's store. There you will find a Captain's Cutlass that you can purchase for 11,000 coins and put it in your garden to keep out Professor Pester and his Ruffians.

If you need money to do this, just do the chili trick that I talked about in my other hint called, "Fast Easy Cash".

Now you can focus on the garden more, and annoying little fiends less.

Three Horstachio Variants and A Zumbug

Hint by jicrichton on November 14, 2007  |  report this hint

First you need to attract the Horstachio and here is what you need: 500 square pinometers of grass and a Ponocky in the garden. Now you need to get the Horstachio to live in your garden, so you need this: 500 square pinometers of grass and he has to eat eight apples.

So now you need help with the Horstachio Variants? Here you go:

Variant 1 -> Feed him one watercress flower.
Variant 2 -> Feed him one bluebell flower.
Variant 3 -> Feed him one chili seed.

Okay now if you feed a Horstachio a blackberry and a daisy flower he will turn into a Zumbug.

One thing to note about the Horstachio is that they don't like Zumbugs and will fight with them, so it is ironic that Zumbugs come from a mutation of them. Maybe the elitist Horstachio thinks that they are better than the lowly mutant Zumbug. Horstachios don't like the Ponocky either.

To breed Horstachios you need the following: 500 square pinometers of grass, wear a fake winner's Rosette, has to eat three carrots, has to eat one toffee apple, and there has to be a Horstachio house in the garden. Oh yeah and two Horstachios.
You have to breed seven Horstachios to become a master romancer, which is one of the romance requirements for the chewnicorn.

Master romancer awards for taffly and redhott.

Hint by frec0 on December 05, 2007  |  report this hint

To become a master romancer for the taffly (the easy way)
You have to have unlocked the hunter. If not you can still read this so when you do unlock it you can use this guide.
First buy taffly one after another from the hunter until you have seven. Then you will get the master romnacer award for that species. Next you have to buy a fire lamp from costalots store. And have the tafflies fly throught it one by one. But before the fire goes out use the watering can to put it out. Do this one by one until all seven are done and you will have the master romancer for redhott then you can sell them to get you money back. :)
