To beat a battle real easily, simply save the battle power you get through the song, until you have about 2 or 3 battle powers, then unleash them on your opponent one after another.This is an easy way to win the boss battles.

beat the game on the hard or expert difficulty and then save and turn off the console. then turn the xbox 360 on with your xbox 360 controller and load your band that you beat the game with. It works even if you already beat the game a while a go too.

Lets say you are getting very close to becoming a Guitar Hero. Having nearly completed the entire game on expert it just no longer seems like a challenge. Thats how the game got for me, as amazing as it is, expert; other then a few songs was not that hard. So I decided I was going to find a code to make it faster and harder then Expert and here it is.

Hyperspeed mode -1.5 X the normal speed of Expert.

Press Orange, Blue, Orange, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Orange, Yellow. This mode makes the charts faster. There are five Hyperspeed levels. Press Green on the Hyperspeed option at the "Cheats" menu to cycle through them.

It's going to be tough to get used to using your pinky, and on top of that, your pinky is probably your weakest finger. Don't give up - it will be awkward at first, but you will get better. Once you are able to use your pinky relatively well, a tip that can help you out is - position your 4 fingers starting on the 2nd button (can't remember the color). It's much easier to bend/stretch your pointer finger down to the green than it is to stretch your pinky up to the orange. I would say that generally speaking you could keep your hand in this position 75% of the time, but there are certain songs where the original position (pointer on green) is better. Anyway, once you get good enough you will be able to switch between positions at a moments notice - even in the middle of a solo!
