Solid Game for the 360!

Farcry is a great game. Good single player gameplay and the online is a blast. Especially being able to create your own maps and play them online with other people without having huge load times. Definitely a fun game!

The island-themed, first-person shooter Far Cry Instincts for the Xbox isn't currently playable on the 360. This is relevant because, although this 360 game gets its own name, it's really an upgraded and bundled version of Instincts and its expansion pack, Far Cry Instincts Evolution. It's actually a great value for the money, just as long as you don't already own one of the other releases.

Though lead flies aplenty from all manner of weaponry, and the scripted event sequences turn you into an action movie hero, this first-person shooter isn't all guns in the sun. Much of Predator requires a stealthy approach, and sends you creeping through bushes, setting nasty branch-whip traps, throwing rocks to divert attention and driving all over the back of beyond, all with intuitive and responsive controls.

The sound is also immersive, filled with indigenous birds and rustling leaves. It's not just for show, either. Tension rises with every snapped branch, because the bad guys are smart enough to investigate when they hear you crashing through the underbrush, instead of just deciding "it must've been the wind." But once they've found you, they still do some stupid things, like charging straight toward the barrel of your gun while getting hammered with bullets.

Cool shooter with that good 'ol stealth

This game rocks. If you like stealth, this one will fill your whims. There is nothing like sneaking through the long grass on your belly then springing up to slice some throat. Other similar games force you to follow one path only and a large part of the game is figuring out which way to go. Not so in this one. Though there are several missions that go in order, you can hang out and shoot stuff up. The adrenalin thing is cool and the game gets challenging to beat on the hard levels, which always makes it more fun in the end. This one is also two games in one, the initial 'Instincts' and the sequel 'Predator'. Double the fun, double the times you are gonna die in this game...

fun game but not perfect

a good shooter mixed in with some stealth and super powers. I really like multiplayer because of the fantastic easy to use map maker. combat may be a bit repetitive but this game has an enormous length. The best water ever seen in a game (see for yourself). I say its better than a rent but wont appeal to some

Sweet to have both games one cd/ Awesome Game

When i write reviews I really dont type that much, because I get right to the point. This game is fun, and fast paced at sometimes. Its a awesome game. It is a buy out a rent, buy, or ingore. You'll just have to get it to see what its like.
