Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare

When I started playing Halo 3 i thought i was going to play that game more than any other game: I could not have been more wrong.
InvinityWard made an excellent decision when they decided the COD franchise should make the move from WWII to modern combat.
The campaign mode is short, it should not take more than 5 hours on normal difficulty to beat.(recomend you beat it on Normal and then move up to experience the game better). That does not mean it is not great. The game mixes things up a bit taking you through some different types of missions like being the pilot of an AC130 Gunner. This mission isn't hard at all but its fun to try something new in a war game. Another mission has you looking through the scope of a .50 caliber sniper rifle at a very long distance from your target and having you taking the wind speed and direction into account.
What really makes this game so amazing is the online multi-player. It is simply awesome! There are a lot of maps out of the box, that are very varied with different types of game modes. The multi-player keeps getting better and better as you play because of the way you unlock weapons and special abilities for your character. You have to complete a certain objective in online matches in order to unlock more weapons. Example: Get 25 Kills with an AK-47 to unlock an attachment for it.
The list of things to unlock is huge and gives the online aspect a greater replayability value. There isn't much i can keep saying to praise the game other than play the game and see for yourself that this is one of the best games of 2007 and probably the best war game to ever be released.
PS Heard there is a rumor on the internet that COD 5 may be taking place in WWII again.
For the sake of war games and everyone of us tired of them, i hope they do not do that.
