If you own a 360 than you really should own this game. After the single player portion of the game is over the multiplayer* gives you a reason to spend even more time playing.

*One knock on the game multiplayer only allows 4v4 matches. This is a problem because even one player dropping from the game can unbalance the match.

Prepare for hectic and intense shooting. Less about exploring and more about gritty death dealing and tactics. This game is beautiful and tense.

You've been through the hell of World War II before in first-person shooters like Medal of Honor and Brothers in Arms. But beating back Hitler's blitzkrieg has never been as shell-shockingly chaotic and intense and indeed heavily scripted, as it is in Call of Duty 2.

You'll alternately fight in the American, British and Russian armies, each experience complete with fanatically historic weaponry and badly accented English. You'll regularly attempt heroic assaults against impossible odds, fighting uncannily smart enemies who effectively shoot from cover, retreat and unnervingly call out your position. (Sprechen Sie Deutsch?) Many fights throughout the game require both skill and luck to pull you through; treacherous artillery fire will often force you to break cover and sprint directly into the teeth of the enemy or into bunkers brimming with bad guys. Pre-scripted moments, in which you're guided into a certain area to witness a carefully choreographed event, are common, but you never relinquish control of your character. Rather, you'll often find yourself up to your neck in 360 degrees worth of action.

All I can really say about this game is Wow is it amazing!! I have never been the type of guy to play war games other then Counter Strike for the PC and thats just terrorists vs. counter terrorists for some good online fun. But COD2 is simply put amazing, the graphics are beautiful, the levels are deep and make you feel as though you are there, and teh physics of the game are very realistic. I love it simply put its so much fun so make sure you get it if you have a xbox 360.

The Best World War II Game

Graphics- The graphics are amazing in this game. This was the best looking kick off game for the 360. The characters looked truly beautiful and the enviroments were amazing. Graphics get a 5/5.

Gameplay- The gameplay was absolutely easy to use and get used to. The controls are well placed on the controller and makes the conrtoller feel so light. Gameplay gets a 5/5.

Storyline- The storyline isn't the best part of the game. World War II games have been around a long time and the story really doesn't matter, because we all no what happens. They just need to try something different. Storyline gets a 4/5.

Online- Online was good. Now that Call of Duty 3 is out, you will have a hard time finding people online. Online gets a 1/5.

Call of Duty 2

Call of Duty 2 is everyWW2 fans dream, realistic battles, authentic weapons, and real vehicles (even though you can never drive them). In CoD 2 you can play as three different countries America, Britain, and Russia. There isn’t much of a story besides the war. In Campaign you mainly go threw some very famous battles like my favorite D-day. You even have to climb up the cliff and reach Point Du Hoc will fifty-cal machine guns are shooting at you in every direction! And that is only one battle. The controls have been totally redone from CoD Finest Hour, they feel more natural.CoD 2 not only has an awesome single player but an amazing multiplayer which rocks X-box live. A big problem with Call of Duty 2 is the repetitiveness; it only takes two missions to feel this repetitiveness.Call of Duty 2s authenticity and great gameplay makes it one of the best WW2 games out there.

Call of Duty 2 takes place in World War II, and takes you to three campaigns of the Russian, British and American. This is the 5th game of the series. This game is made by Activision for the XBox 360.

The gameplay for this game is awesome no doubt and keeps the experience going. This game can be hard or easy depending on your skill level but this isn't just a run and gun game it is like you are a soldier and you are running around looking for cover or destroying tanks. Online is awesome because you can run around with people killing other people and is very fun.

The game takes place in World War II. You go to American, British, and Russian campaigns trying to stop the German army from taking over. Your first mission is a training mission which is predictble and also teaches you the world of Call of Duty. The story also gives you a lot of history and you learn alot of things that you wouldn't in a normal history lesson. Also these people that you play as have been recognized war heros which adds authenticity.The story is just following the events of WWII.

The graphics are totally next gen and are awesome. It feels like you are in a real battlefield with bullets flying by. The soldiers look good and so does the guns. The people at activision have done an awesome job on all the graphics on the game. The sounds are also awesome as well compared to other war games.

This game has 4 difficult levels, Recruit, Veteran, Hard, and Normal. These add lots of replayability time. There is also Online play which you can spend hours on. You will definitely be playing this game for hours on end because this game is awesome. Try veteran mode if your a hotshot or just really good.

I recommend that you buy this game to the shooter fan in the house but like I always say you should rent it before you buy it unless its a birthday present. This game is sold at around $60 which is alot but this game is definitely worth it as I have stated above.

One of the best WW2 games ever. buy it now, you won't be sorry.

Graphics: Simply insane
Gameplay: Awesome
Story: PERFECT (it's history folks)

1st class wwii shooter

This series, is the best in wwii shooters. They blow moh out of the water and leave the crappy accuracy behind. In call of duty 2, you assume the roles of russian, american, and british soldiers. There are 25+ singleplayer missions and addictive multiplayer matches. It comes with about 12 maps standard right out of the box, more for purchase from xblstore. I would rank this game as 2nd in the series, right behind call of duty 4.

this is probally one of the best war games that i have ever played in my life so far it is very great. if you have the money to buy it i would get it its is sweet and so realistic.and the grafics are good for and older game

I was very impressed with this WWII shooter. I've played many different war FPS but this was the best. It is non-stop action for the first mission to the last. This game makes you realize that you never want to be in those soldiers' shoes. War is hell! Play this game in surround sound and bullets are whizzing by you and grenades sound like they're exploding in your living room. Get this game!
