good game

i give this game 4 out of 5 stars the only thing I dont like is most of the achievments are hard to get unless you keep making new teams as they relay on what type of player you use gold silver bronze...and than position so you need gold silver bronze QB RB WR so on if you know what i mean and i can seem to change the team mid game.
classic sports game for classic football fans

when i play this online, i notice that it seems to appeal to older gamers, most of which who grew up in the 80s and early 90s watching many of these athletes in their primes. that being said, i would like to first reccomend this game to any football historian. secondly, id reccomend it to anyone whos sick of the numbers game in sports titles. all-pro throws out stat-based abillities and replaces them with individual skills (barry sanders possesing cutback abillity, finesse, and speed amoungst other traits while earl cambell has power, strength, and stamia). and finally, i have to say this game is fun for anyone who loves customizing their own teams (its all you can really do anyways.) you cannot play as any preset teams, so the game prompts you to create your first one from scratch. though the learning curve is rather steep (both in getting a team to mesh well and playing the game itself), all-pro 2k8 is a fluid, well-executed sports title with excellent replay value.

Put the game on rookie, turn penalties off, line up off sides and immediately sack qb
get a qb with accuracy/power get fast reciever with hands, throw 99 yd tds by fair catching or running out of bounds from kick offs or punts on the 1 yd line(do the same for running)
put the quarter on 15 minutes, and look at the achievements, should b e z to get!
