Can we say Metroid?

I grabbed this game out of the clearance rack at my local Circuit City. I wasn’t expecting much and had never heard of this game. It looked cool and has a cool title but it was only $6 brand new. I go home and threw it in and was shocked how cool this game is. You start out on a ship that is heading to a research base that sent out a distress signal. Being a bounty hunter you where paid to come to the planet and figure out what is going on. On your way to the planet your ship is attacked by some sort of alien and you end up crash landing on the planet. You have a suit with a gun and have to fight off the Scurge while collecting information about what happened in the lab and while collecting powerups to your suit. It’s really fun because there are a lot of different powerups and there are a lot of different monsters. Then your different guns have different attacks and you can switch your guns really quickly without going to the menu to use the gun that is most effective against the monsters you are fighting. Over all I was shocked how great this game is and probably played it for 6 hours the first day I got it. If you’re a Metroid fan you will really enjoy this game.
