I have bin a fan of the Harvest Moon series for a long time this game is a delight.In Harvest Moon DS you must save the harvest goddess by finding all the harvest sprites.Unlike some harvest game you have no time limit so can play for years.You get a field but unlike the last game you don't have a preset spot for barn and coops,there builded right on to your field and you can have many of each.That being said you can use up space quick,and each building will cost you and you most balance your farm and spending.This game also give you the option to plant in field out side your farm as well!Like other game in this series you can find and court the girls in the valley and hook up your GBA Harvest Moon game and you court those girls too!

Now there are some down side to this game,it sports the uses of the touch screen in animal caring mini games but more uses for the touch screen would have bin nice.Also in order to marry your sweet heart you MOST collect 60 or more harvest sprites and this can take some time on that note the game some time doe not make it clear on how you get sprites.Some time you just find your self finding one while doing your normal day to day tasks.As bobjoe69 it can get repetitive fast if you pay for to long.It's best to play and then take a break from time to time but that said it can be very addicting at the same time
