Ok this game is a super fun game and loads of fun for a game of later ps1 graphics. You start off as the main character (blue hair) and learn the combat style for the game, witch is so simple it will make you cry, and as you progress you come across a disaster that spreads over the world of legaia called the mist. At first you recieve his living thing that you see on his wrist, called a gaia if im not mistaken, this will help you by giving you a element and they obsorb most creatures you combat if your lucky enough to hit them just right. The next thing you do is similar but with the girl then the other guy. As you advance through the game the storyline will get a little more involving outher than just fight and walk. The main purpose is to get rid of the mist and find and destroy the one who has created this evil. With plenty of twist and turns, not to mention the several minigames that are fun and integrated with the main story, this game will be well worth at least trying out.

creatures and combos

First off like 65% of the creatures in this game are able to be obsorbed buy the creatures on your arm. Each one of the obsorbable creatures, once yours, can be leveld up just buy using them in a fight. Of coarse each usage takes up a sertain amount of mp witch will decrease as they level up, so will theire attacks. I suggest that you obsorb all of the creatures for all three of your characters and level them up as much as posible. Catching these creatures is not always easy due to the fact that most of them have it to were you have to hit them with only enough hits to kill and it must be the gaia arm that hits last. Although getting all of them is tricky and leveling them all up at times becomes a pain I'll let you know if you have at least half of them maximum and the rest at half or above beating the last boss will come alot easyer as his sheild is weak against them.

Now for combos. Combos are a fairly simple fighting style to figure out, left arm right high kick and low kick. A mixture of only three is the basic attack you learn. Dont be worried it gives you two options. Optian a is to use combos you have already learnd, or option b is that you can punch in random attack patterns to try and learn new combos. You can string multiple combos together for a power packed punch. Easy way of learning these combos is to find a website that has a detailed walkthrough for the game and there should be a section for everyones combo patterns and what it takes to learn each of them, i.e. main that you can learn at any time in the game, level specific combos that entail that you be a sertain level to learn them, or the ultimate cobos in witch you must have learned all the other combos and have the ultimate combo book for each character. These sites will always contain were to get the ultimate books and much more. You must use each combo to level them up.
